What is included in the hire rate quoted ?

The rate quoted will include the hire rate, unlimited kilometers ( 4 days min. ) Standard Insurance Cover and GST ( Goods and Services Tax ) 1 to 3 day hire rates can be tailored to suit. All rates are in New Zealand dollars.

How is the daily rate calculated ?

The daily rate is calculated on a 24 hrs basis - collection and return is during business hours or as arranged with the hiring branch.
Part days are charged as follows;
* Up to 2 hrs ( after first day) - No additional charge.
* 2 hrs to 5 hrs - an extra half day.
* Over 5 hrs - an extra full day.

What Insurance is included in rate ?

Comprehensive insurance is included - a $1200.00 car insurance excess applies for drivers 25 yrs of age and over. Drivers 21 yrs to 25yrs of age have an additional $500.00 loading and drivers under 21 yrs of age $1000.00 loading. A $500.00 loading also applies to Minibuses and other commercial vehicles. Optional Excess Reduction ( Collision Damage Reduction) is available to drivers over 25 yrs of age at the commencement of the hire.

How do we pay for our hire ?

All hires can be paid by Credit Card , Eftpos or Cash - a Bond is also required. A deposit is required when making a booking ( 10% or 1 days hire ) and subject to our refund policy.

Licence required and Driving Age ?

All drivers must have a full licence, with 3 yrs driving experience and be over 18 yrs of age. International licences and licences from other Countries also accepted.

Fuel ?

All vehicles are supplied FULL at the beginning of the hire and must be returned full at completion of the hire or a surcharge will apply. Make sure the correct fuel is used.

Can we pickup and dropoff outside office hours ?

Arrangements for after hours pickups and dropoffs must be made with the hiring branch. A small fee will apply to cover any associated costs.

Are Baby Seats available ?

Yes, most branches carry a range of baby seats and boosters - ask when booking.

What do we do in the event of a breakdown ?

In the unlikely event of a breakdown, call us on the FREE 0800 736823 number for the matter to be attended to. If we are unable to rectify the fault in reasonable time, a replacement vehicle will be supplied to you.
