Standard Insurance

All Rent a Dent vehicles have insurance cover which is included in the rate quoted. This is referred to as our Standard Insurance Cover.

Provided the "Rental Terms and Conditions" and use of the vehicle is complied with by the hirer and the listed drivers, the standard insurance excess applies to all drivers - listed as follows;

Standard Insurance Excess $1400.00 GST Inclusive
Underage Loading ( 21 to 25 yrs) + $500.00 GST Inclusive
Under 21 yrs of age Loading + $1000.00 GST Inclusive
4WD, Minibus and Commercial Vehicle loading + $ 500.00 GST Inclusive

C.D.R - Collision Damage Reduction

C.D.R can be purchased to reduce the Standard Insurance Excess for drivers 25 yrs of age and over, to $300.00 by paying an extra daily charge ( 4WD, Minibus and Commercial Vehicle Loading still applies )

Windscreen Excess

The Insurance Excess on Windscreens or any glass is $300.00

In the event of an accident, a claim form must be completed by the hirer and handed to the Rent a Dent branch concerned.
